Support 5 female deaf for hairdressing & salon
MPWDA intends to implement a project titled "Support 5 female deaf youth for hairdressing and start a salon". In Mpigi district we have a number of female youths with deaf disability who are unemployed because of their low levels of education and limited access to both formal and informal jobs. MPWDA would like to start a saloon for deaf girls to get employed, earn a living and lead dignified lives

Support 20 disabled young women for tailoring
Young women with Disabilities in our community face sexual reproductive health challenges of which some are exacerbated by the effects of COVID 19. The project will support 20 Young disabled women with modern commercial tailoring. Products will be sold off to the community members because there is available market. The project will provide sewing machines and materials for making tailoring

Educate 150 Girls with Disabilities Mpigi Uganda
We have a number of girls with disabilities who are of school going age in our community. Our Government provides free education for all but the major challenge for limited access to formal education by those girls is lack of scholarstic materials. This project will support 150 with school bags, books, pens, sanitary towels and school uniforms. We shall also hold disability inclusive talk shows to change the attitude of other learners towards those with disabilities.
